Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Shop Hand to join our team in Midland, Texas. This is a full-time, physically demanding position involving refurbishing oilfield equipment using grinders, drills, impacts, and other power tools. You will spend most of your shift on your feet lifting, grinding, drilling, loading materials, and performing repetitive manual labor. This is not a light-duty or desk position. We are looking for someone who shows up on time every day, works hard, and takes pride in producing quality work. Responsibilities Refurbish steel oilfield clamps using grinders, drills, and other power tools Operate angle grinders, electric drills, impact tools, and other shop equipment safely Load, unload, and organize inventory and outgoing shipments Lift and move steel components weighing 5 to 50 pounds Inspect refurbished products to ensure they meet HUCKS quality standards Operate forklifts and lifting equipment (training provided if needed) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard Perform general shop and yard duties as assigned Physical Requirements Applicants must be able to: Stand and work on their feet for 8 or more hours per shift Lift, carry, bend, push, and pull heavy materials repeatedly Safely operate grinders, drills, and other power tools throughout the workday Perform repetitive physical tasks in a shop environment Work around steel, machinery, and industrial equipment Qualifications Excellent attendance and punctuality. Showing up on time every day is essential. Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor throughout the workday Experience using grinders, drills, or other power tools preferred Forklift experience is an asset but not required Ability to follow instructions and work safely Reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent preferred Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Occasional overtime and weekend work as required Safety Requirements Steel-toe boots are required. Employment is contingent upon successfully completing any required pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check and drug screening.
