Are you ready to roll with a company that knows glass and values grit? Hartung Glass is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Laborer to join our team. With a pay range of $18 to $20 per hour (based on experience), shift differential of a $1.50 plus excellent benefits, this position is for those who don't mind a physically demanding role and take pride in paying attention to detail!

Your Role:

As a Laborer with Hartung Glass Industries, you will be the critical link that facilitates movement of different types of glass products, ensuring every piece is handled safely and efficiently for timely delivery to our customers. This is a physical job—you'll be handling glass materials, so strength and endurance are a must!

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Move glass from/to tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily Transport of materials including glass and other products from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the product to our customers Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow Perform different job functions on a rotating basis Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.) Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications Maintain a safe and clean work area Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical Measurements and effectively use a tape measure All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends) High School Diploma or GED, preferred One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility, preferred Hartung Glass Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
