Dramatic elevation changes of 50

A shot-maker's course, Ballyhack features 150-yard fairways, gouged-out bunkers, and rugged terrain. Don't forget to greet the family of African Boer goats, who live near the 14th green.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Agronomy team, your essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide labor support for daily golf course maintenance activities. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as raking bunkers, shoveling, trimming, operating backpack mowers, and walk or push mowing greens. Assist with a wide range of golf course maintenance activities as directed. Perform all assigned tasks to established standards with care and attention to detail. Follow golf course etiquette standards while working on the course. Operate maintenance equipment efficiently and safely. Support upkeep of equipment through proper use and basic care to maximize equipment life and minimize downtime. Report damage, safety concerns, or operational issues to supervisors promptly. Inform supervisors of any incidents that occur during work activities. Adhere to Dormie Network policies, procedures, and safety programs at all times. Maintain professional appearance standards and wear assigned uniforms. Work collaboratively with fellow employees to support an efficient and positive team environment. Take direction from agronomy leadership and complete assigned tasks with limited supervision. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by agronomy leadership.

Demonstrates a willingness to learn golf course maintenance practices. Understands the importance of safety and follows safe operating procedures. Communicates effectively with supervisors and team members. Works well as part of a team while developing independence. Performs effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally physically demanding environment. Demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Shows respect for members, guests, and fellow employees through courteous behavior. Maintains confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. One to three years of prior golf course maintenance or related outdoor labor experience preferred.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to walk and maneuver on uneven terrain. Ability to bend, crouch, stretch, push, pull, and perform physical labor as required. Ability to visually inspect turf conditions, machinery, and materials. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate local machinery when properly licensed. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Pay Range:
Fulltime
  • $15•$17/hr.
Part time
  • $14•$16/hr.
