General Laborer

Hidden Valley Transfer Station, a Waste Connections company, is currently hiring a reliable and motivated Laborer to support our operations in Puyallup, Washington. Schedule:

Friday through Monday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with opportunities for overtime

Pay Range:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general labor tasks at the transfer station, including site cleanup and equipment support Safely flag and direct traffic entering and exiting the facility Assist customers with unloading and disposal processes Operate minor equipment as needed Occasionally drive within the landfill area (requires a valid driver's license and clean driving record)

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a physically demanding outdoor role Comfortable working in environments with strong odors and varying weather conditions Ability to stand and work outdoors for up to 10 hours per shift Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Willingness to work at multiple locations if needed High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record This is a safety-sensitive position and requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
