Job Description
General Laborer for Crushing Facility Assists production and operations team in performing daily functions to produce and prepare product for sale, as well as clean and maintain property and equipment. Specific duties include bagging rock, greasing equipment, changing screens and cleaning/organizing the equipment and work areas. On the job training opportunities for operating heavy equipment. General laborer must meet physical requirements, be hardworking, and able to follow instructions rapidly and proficiently. Must be able to learn safety precautions, adapt to quickly changing work environments, learn by example, and use many tools. Must be able to communicate clearly and efficiently. Must be able to work outside in all weather. Forklift, skidsteer, and other heavy equipment experience is preferred, but not required. Principal duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing and maintaining a general knowledge and understanding of Kafka Granite's procedures, quality standards, and safety precautions. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment for production team. Assisting production team in preparing consistent and quality product for sale. Full-time, Part-time, and Seasonal positions available. No experience is necessary. Guaranteed first shift. $2,000 retention bonus after the first six months of employment.
