Position Overview:
As a Central Planner, you will manage the order-to-delivery phase of the purchasing process for parts supplied by assigned suppliers supporting specific production facilities. You will ensure material availability aligns with manufacturing requirements by coordinating closely with suppliers and internal teams. In this role, you will analyze inventory, address supply and demand issues, and support new product introductions and design changes. Your ability to connect data, processes, and cross-functional collaboration will directly impact operational efficiency and production performance. This role offers the opportunity to influence end-to-end supply chain effectiveness and drive meaningful improvements in inventory and delivery performance.Key Responsibilities:
Manage purchase orders within the ERP system to ensure alignment with production requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, logistics, and manufacturing teams to support clean build performance. Monitor and respond to MRP exception messages, including escalation when necessary. Respond to schedule changes, inventory concerns, and shipment issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Analyze inventory to identify opportunities to improve inventory turns and reduce excess. Coordinate the disposition of inactive, excess, and obsolete inventory. Partner with Category Sourcing and New Product Introduction teams during part launches and design changes. Support supplier integration activities related to production part changes. Assist Accounts Payable in resolving invoice and payment discrepancies.Desired Competencies:

Two- or four-year college degree preferred or equivalent job experience. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across a variety of roles and functions. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and make timely decisions. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate across cultures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data to support decision making. Ability to remain effective under pressure and in dynamic environments. Ability to work on-site as required. Ability to travel up to 20%. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
