Part-time to start | Full-time potential About NWA Courier NWA Courier is a 21-year-old TSA-certified Indirect Air Carrier specializing in medical and time-critical logistics. We operate across six markets and move freight that genuinely matters — lab specimens, pharmaceuticals, and urgent supplies that patients depend on. We are a small, tight team and we take that responsibility seriously. The Role We are looking for a dependable, sharp Operations Associate to support our Little Rock warehouse. This role covers warehouse operations, dispatching, and facility upkeep — it is a generalist position and all three are expected. None of these tasks are beneath this role. Training takes place during daytime hours. Once trained — typically within a few weeks for the right person — this role operates within a 24/7 business. We retain the right to assign shifts to fill coverage needs as the role grows. If a fixed daytime schedule permanently is a requirement for you, this is not the right fit. You will at times work independently without supervision. The ability to self-manage, use sound judgment, and escalate issues to NWA Courier management — not to our clients — is not optional. It is the job. What You'll Do Warehouse & Parts Pull and stage parts, supplies, and shipments per job orders Receive, verify, and log inbound freight Handle packages with medical-grade care and chain-of-custody standards Facility Upkeep Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and ship-shape at all times Perform assigned facility chores and general upkeep tasks This is not occasional — a clean facility is a standard of this role Dispatching Answer inbound calls and handle customer job inquiries Enter and track orders in our courier management software Assign drivers and monitor active deliveries Communicate proactively with drivers, customers, and operations staff Escalate exceptions, delays, and failures immediately to NWA Courier management — not the client General Operations Assist with driver check-in, paperwork, and POD documentation Flag process gaps — we want someone who notices things What We're Looking For Reliable — shows up, follows through, communicates proactively Trustworthy enough to work independently without supervision Clear on chain of command — problems go to us first, always Calm under pressure — time-critical logistics gets intense Strong communicator, written and verbal Detail-oriented — in medical logistics, accuracy is patient safety Comfortable learning software quickly (training provided) Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must live near 1100 Jones St — response time matters in this business Background check required Experience in logistics, warehousing, dispatching, or customer service is a plus.
