Business Unit Firestone Tubes Management Level Non-Management Job Category Administration Position Summary The Manufacturing Intern supports the Purchasing and Receiving functions in a manufacturing environment while gaining practical exposure to engineering and plant operations. This role is ideal for an engineering student interested in supply chain, materials management, and real-world manufacturing processes, with opportunities to assist Engineering as needed. What You'll Gain

• Hands on experience in purchasing and materials management
• Exposure to engineering support in a production setting
• Cross functional experience working with Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations Responsibilities Assist Purchasing with inventory monitoring, replenishment support, and purchase order activities Support Receiving by documenting receipts and distributing materials to internal customers Help maintain organized storeroom and receiving areas Participate in inventory activities such as cycle counts and material reviews Provide general purchasing and administrative support as needed Assist Engineering with projects, data collection, or shop‑floor support as workload allows Minimum Qualifications Is in college, working towards earning an accredited degree Interest in purchasing, supply chain, and manufacturing operations Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in both office and production environments Comfortable working with basic computer systems and documentation Comfortable taking and making phone calls with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams At Bridgestone, you are Free to Be We believe people can only provide superior service and quality to others when they bring their whole self to work.
