The ideal candidate will have logistics coordination experience with 3PL vendors on heavy cargo transportation and shipments. This is a full-time, direct hire role. Responsibilities -
Korean/ English Bilingual Logistics Operations Specialist:
Supervises and oversees the whole operations of the warehouse functions Visit the customers' sites (most of them are automotive parts manufactures) and help them with loading/unloading, packing, etc. Trains and assists other warehouse leads and workers Make sure that all the policies and rules are followed and understood Create crates as needed using hand tools such as saws, nail guns, etc. Perform face to face customer service to the clients, join onsite meetings Communicates with the upper managements to coordinate the work schedules Evaluates the performance of other employees, make suggestions on the training as needed Maintains and secure good and safe work environment Creates and reviews reports Other duties as assigned Requirements -
Korean/ English Bilingual Logistics Operations Specialist:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration and related field Minimum 3 years of Supply Chain, Logistics, 3PL operations experience ideally in logistics or manufacturing industry Business-level proficiency in both Korean and English language skills (Speaking, Reading, Listening, Writing) Familiarity with warehouse functions (shipping / receiving) Strong communication skills with clients and vendors Computer skills (Microsoft Office including Word and Excel) Organizational and time management skills While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
