This position is responsible for tracking, coordinating, and expediting the movement of parts within the load cell production facility to help ensure customer orders are completed and shipped on time. Serving as a key liaison between Production and Customer Service, the Expediter provides real-time updates on part locations, production status, and estimated completion dates. This individual works closely with production supervisors and manufacturing personnel to identify priorities, remove bottlenecks, and help keep production running efficiently. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Functions Utilize SyteLine ERP to track, monitor, and maintain accurate, real-time status of parts, work orders, and materials throughout the production process. Physically locate, verify, and monitor parts and materials on the manufacturing floor to ensure inventory accuracy and production visibility. Serve as the primary communication link between Production and Customer Service by providing timely updates on order status, part locations, and estimated lead times. Collaborate with production supervisors to identify high-priority and expedited orders, helping ensure customer commitments and production schedules are met. Proactively identify production delays, material shortages, or workflow bottlenecks and communicate issues to the appropriate personnel to support timely resolution. Maintain accurate documentation and effectively utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with internal business systems to support daily operations. Build strong working relationships across multiple departments while supporting production, planning, customer service, and other cross-functional teams. Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, improve communication, and enhance overall production flow. Perform other duties as assigned in support of production and operational objectives. Required Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience using an ERP/MRP system; SyteLine ERP experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand manufacturing processes and production workflows. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to supporting production operations.
