The Coordinator will collaborate with campus partners, vendors, and internal teams to plan key program events such as the resource fair, program mixers, Wildcat Welcome, and additional Enrollment Management initiatives. They will also contribute to broader Student Transitions & Customer Service efforts, including campus visits, orientation, customer service, future families, and admissions events as needed. For more information about working at the University of Arizona and relocations services, please click here Duties & Responsibilities The Coordinator of Destination Arizona supports the planning, coordination, and execution of the university's transition program, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for incoming students and their families. Working closely with the Senior Coordinator, this role develops program timelines, logistics, and operational plans for on-campus programming, including check-in processes, communications, and large-scale events. The Coordinator collaborates with campus partners, departments, and external vendors to implement key program components such as the resource fair and other Destination Arizona events. This position also assists with program assessment and evaluation by collecting feedback, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to enhance future programming while supporting the goals of Enrollment Management and Student Transitions & Customer Service. The Coordinator establishes annual programming priorities that reflect student needs, campus climate, and institutional initiatives. This role develops a cohesive Wildcat Welcome brand and messaging strategy to ensure consistent communication and identity across all events. The Coordinator plans and executes signature Wildcat Welcome events designed to foster student belonging, connection, and awareness of campus resources, while managing a centralized events database or platform. Additionally, this position implements assessment strategies to measure attendance, engagement, and student satisfaction, using data to inform and improve future programming. This position collaborates with the Enrollment Management Student Supervisor to coordinate student employee support for Destination Arizona and Wildcat Welcome programs. Responsibilities include assisting with the hiring of new student staff, planning and facilitating both virtual and in-person training sessions, and meeting regularly with Student Assistants and Mentors. The role also manages the creation and maintenance of student employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage for program activities. The position helps ensure smooth program operations and a positive, engaging experience for both students and program participants. This position provides support for Student Transitions & Customer Service (ST&CS) events and programs as needed, ensuring a seamless experience for students and families. Responsibilities include assisting with Future Families Coffee Chats, delivering presentations during Campus Visits, providing coverage for group visits, and supporting Orientation events. The role helps maintain consistent, high-quality engagement across all programs and contributes to the overall success of ST&CS initiatives.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a large student workforce. Knowledge of student employment policies, training best practices, and higher education operations. Ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate cross-divisional needs, and create an engaging and supportive work environment.
