This pivotal role combines strategic procurement with production planning, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and components necessary for manufacturing operations. As a key player in optimizing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and coordinating across departments, you will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and support our company's commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Develop and execute procurement strategies to source high-quality materials and components from reliable suppliers. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery excellence. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and maintain accurate procurement records. Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to align supply plans with demand forecasts using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools. Oversee inventory management activities including inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse logistics to optimize stock levels. Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline inbound/outbound shipments and improve supply chain efficiency. Conduct demand planning analyses to anticipate future needs, reduce waste, and support lean manufacturing initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or materials management within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and related supply chain software. Familiarity with MRP processes, inventory control techniques, and demand planning methodologies. Excellent supplier management skills with the ability to negotiate contracts and foster long-term partnerships. Experience working in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management is highly desirable. Ability to analyze data effectively and utilize tools like ERP systems for decision-making. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
