Role Description We are seeking a full-time New Product Introduction (NPI) Program Manager to lead and manage NPI initiatives at our San Jose, CA, facility. This on-site role involves coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver new products effectively and on time. Responsibilities include overseeing program schedules, facilitating communication among engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams, addressing risks, and ensuring compliance with quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle. The Program Manager will also develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success. Qualifications Strong Program Management and Project Management skills, with the ability to oversee complex workflows and ensure successful execution. Proficiency in Supply Chain Management to support material sourcing, procurement, and logistics coordination. Experience in Product Development processes, from ideation through prototyping and production release. Excellent Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making and risk management throughout project timelines. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage deliverables effectively. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. An advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous. Background in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or high-tech industries is preferred.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary customer contact providing accurate, prompt, professional and courteous service in accordance with mutual expectations created through Sale Order delivery commitments or, if established, co-signed Manufacturing Service Agreements.
- Work with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Materials to insure necessary customer documentation is obtained, properly stored and distributed per established procedures.
- Support customer ECO's managing both implementation and associated impact in terms of delivery and cost per established procedures.
- Quote Bill of Materials and purchase Bill of Materials once receipt of PO. Work with customer up front to identify problem parts along with possible solutions (alternate parts etc...) . Put kits together after receipt from various vendors to send for manufacturing . Track down shortages based on shortage reports provided by manufacturing
- Establish and change production priorities through the maintenance of Sale Order delivery dates, while measuring delivery performance to the original customer delivery commitment.
- Effectively use company systems to maintain and communicate real-time status of production in terms of cost, quality, and availability.
- Establish formal and informal communication processes with assigned accounts to maintain customer satisfaction when addressing complaints, concerns and product returns.
- Possible customer visits locally or via travel.
- Complete all other duties as assigned by management.
