Pay:
$21 - $25 per hour Position Overview Fusion is seeking a highly organized and execution-driven Supply Chain Assistant to support procurement operations across Asia and U.S. supply chains, including direct support for government sales programs. This role covers end-to-end supply chain execution—from sourcing and vendor coordination to production tracking, quality follow-up, and shipping logistics. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and team player, with solid experience working with international vendors and managing timelines, costs, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Vendor Coordination Support sourcing across Asia (China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Southeast Asia) and U.S. suppliers
Manage RFQs, quotations, cost comparisons, and purchase orders
Communicate with vendors to align on pricing, lead times, and production status Production, Product Development & Quality Support Coordinate tech packs, material sourcing, and sample development
Track sample approvals, production progress, and delivery milestones
Support quality control and issue resolution with vendors Shipping & Logistics (Required) Coordinate international and domestic shipments (ocean, air, LTL/FTL, parcel)
Work with forwarders and carriers to manage:
Shipment scheduling
Delivery tracking
Issue resolution
Prepare and manage shipping documentation:
BOL, commercial invoices, packing lists
Support basic import/export and customs coordination Government Supply Chain Support Assist procurement for government bids and contracts
Coordinate with domestic vendors to meet:
Delivery deadlines
Compliance requirements (Buy American, Berry, TAA/DFARS when applicable) Systems, Data & Process Support Utilize AI tools and ERP/database systems to:
Track procurement and logistics
Analyze vendor performance and cost trends
Maintain accurate and up-to-date supply chain records Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics
Experience with:
Asia sourcing and vendor coordination
Domestic U.S. supply chain operations
Shipping and transportation logistics (MANDATORY)
Working knowledge of:
Freight methods and shipping documentation
Production processes, tech packs, and sample tracking
Proficiency in:
Mandarin Chinese (required)
ERP/database systems and basic AI tools
Strong:
Communication and negotiation skills
Organizational and follow-up ability
Team collaboration mindset Preferred Experience with government or defense supply chains
Familiarity with industrial, textile, or safety products
Knowledge of:
Quality management processes
Import/export and compliance standards
