Job Description
About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Import Clerk for an onsite opportunity in El Segundo. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of related logistics, import, or billing experience who is ready to grow within a fast-paced transportation and supply chain environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, sharp, dependable, and comfortable handling documentation, billing support, and shipment coordination while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
ResponsibilitiesSupport daily import operations and shipment processingReview and verify import documentation for accuracy and complianceAssist with billing, invoicing, and data entry functionsCoordinate with carriers, vendors, customers, and internal departmentsTrack shipments and provide status updates as neededMaintain organized records and files for import transactionsEnsure timely processing of paperwork and operational reportsRespond to emails and inquiries in a professional and timely mannerAssist with general administrative and logistics support duties
