Full Job Description Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:

Manage the maintenance, preparation and routing of purchase orders Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements Maintain and manage delivery schedules Communicate with UPS and other transportation carriers to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes Confer or correspond with transportation companies to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications Assist with determining shipping methods, routes, or rates for goods to be shipped Track and analyze mis-shipments to ensure they would not occur again Address and revolve any issues with delayed shipments Track and organize inventory among warehouses Have solutions for last mile problem Serve as point of contact for transportation companies Prepare accurate reports for upper management; report any problems, issues, and losses to the upper management

Qualifications:

Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field Proven experience as logistics coordinator Experience in customer service Outstanding organization and coordination abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of logistics principles and practices Computer savvy Able to work in a fast-paced environment A team player
