Logistics Coordinator

Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and dispatch operations for a growing transportation company. The ideal candidate will coordinate shipments, communicate with drivers and customers, track deliveries, and ensure freight is moved efficiently and on schedule. Fresno, CA, Key Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate and schedule freight pickups and deliveries. + Communicate with drivers, customers, and dispatch teams regarding shipment status and delivery schedules. + Track loads and monitor transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery. + Prepare and maintain bills of lading, shipping documents, and transportation records. + Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer concerns in a timely manner. + Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in transportation management systems. + Assist with route planning and load optimization to improve operational efficiency. + Generate reports and support day-to-day transportation operations. Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent required. + 2+ years of logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain experience preferred. + Experience working in a trucking, freight, or transportation environment is highly preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. + Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus. + Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
