Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation and dispatch operations for a growing transportation company. The ideal candidate will coordinate shipments, communicate with drivers and customers, track deliveries, and ensure freight is moved efficiently and on schedule. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills. This is a contract position located in
Fresno, CA,Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule freight pickups and deliveries.

Communicate with drivers, customers, and dispatch teams regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.

Track loads and monitor transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery.

Prepare and maintain bills of lading, shipping documents, and transportation records.

Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer concerns in a timely manner.

Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in transportation management systems.

Assist with route planning and load optimization to improve operational efficiency.

Generate reports and support day-to-day transportation operations.
