Production/Operations Reports to: S&OP Manager Position Summary:
Based in Lindsay, CA, the S&OP Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution and continuous improvement of the company's Sales & Operations Planning process across Bulk Juice, Ingredients, By-products, and Dry Production operations. This role supports operational alignment between sales demand, fruit supply, production capacity, inventory management, and customer fulfillment. The S&OP Analyst plays a key role in maintaining production visibility, improving schedule execution, supporting inventory optimization, and enabling data-driven operational decisions across the organization. The role combines production planning, reporting, inventory coordination, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Role Mission:
Support alignment between sales demand, production capacity, inventory levels, and raw material availability across all production divisions Contribute to operational visibility through accurate reporting, KPI tracking, and schedule management Support efficient utilization of plant resources through disciplined production planning and inventory coordination Build reliable operational reporting and data analysis processes that support proactive decision-making across operations, procurement, QA, and sales Key Value Drivers (Areas of Contribution): Production schedule adherence and execution support Inventory accuracy and inventory visibility across raw materials and finished goods Operational reporting accuracy and KPI tracking Capacity planning support and production coordination Cross-functional communication and alignment between operations, procurement, QA, and sales Essential Functions:
Production Planning & Scheduling Assist in developing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules across Bulk Juice, Ingredients, Frozen, and Dry operations Monitor production execution versus plan and communicate schedule deviations, risks, and corrective action recommendations Support balancing of production demand, labor availability, raw material supply, and operational constraints Assist in identifying bottlenecks, downtime drivers, and scheduling inefficiencies that impact throughput and service levels Coordinate schedule updates and communicate operational changes across production, procurement, QA, warehousing, and sales teams Inventory & Supply Coordination Monitor raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory levels to support uninterrupted production execution Communicate inventory concerns including aging inventory, low stock situations, expired materials, and quality-related inventory risks Partner with procurement and operations teams to support material availability and minimize production disruptions Track seasonal fruit supply patterns and support forecasting of production windows and inventory positioning Reporting & Performance Management Support development and maintenance of KPI reporting related to schedule adherence, inventory performance, throughput, production output, and operational efficiency Maintain accurate operational data and reporting visibility to support decision-making across departments Prepare recurring operational reports, dashboards, and analysis for leadership review Support continuous improvement initiatives through operational analysis and data-driven recommendations Cross-Functional Collaboration Participate in daily and weekly operational alignment meetings with production, procurement, QA, warehousing, logistics, and sales teams Support communication and follow-up of schedule changes, operational priorities, and action items Build operational understanding across multiple departments to improve coordination and reporting effectiveness Support implementation and continuous improvement of S&OP processes, reporting systems, and planning tools Continuous Improvement & Operational Support Develop understanding of end-to-end plant operations, including fruit receiving, extraction, processing, packaging, warehousing, and shipping Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, reporting efficiency, inventory visibility, and operational coordination Support operational initiatives focused on improving throughput, reducing waste, and improving schedule execution Perform all other duties as assigned Success Profile (What Great Looks Like) Demonstrates strong analytical and organizational capabilities with high attention to detail Maintains accurate, timely, and actionable reporting that supports operational execution Effectively coordinates across departments and communicates operational priorities clearly Demonstrates urgency, adaptability, and strong follow-through in dynamic production environments Uses data to support proactive operational decisions and continuous improvement opportunities Operates with accountability, reliability, and a strong team-oriented mindset Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered) 0-3 years of experience in data analytics, production planning, supply chain, S&OP, inventory management, or operations support roles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Effective communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally across operations and business teams Experience in food manufacturing, agriculture, citrus processing, or industrial ingredients industry is a plus High sense of urgency with ability to adapt quickly to changing operational priorities Ethical, dependable, and self-motivated Technical Skills:
Microsoft Excel — Advanced proficiency required: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting, data validation, and scenario analysis Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) — comfortable preparing reports and internal presentations. SQL — preferred; ability to write basic-to-intermediate queries (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY) to extract production and inventory data from relational databases. ERP or planning system experience (SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics) - experience or demonstrated ability to learn required. Power BI or similar BI software — basic dashboard navigation and report/visual creation is a plus General Physical Requirements:
