Job Description:
The Planner (Production Control) ensures product availability to the manufacturing floor to meet the schedule and customer demand. The focus of this role is on business and organizational aspects of producing and distributing products. Receives and reviews Sales Orders against current requirements and work in process using the Material Requirement Planning Report. Reviews MRP and MPS reports and analyzes data to determine any necessary action. Answers e-mail traffic for sales customer order demand on an as needed basis. Releases of work orders to the manufacturing floor Reviews work in process material sweeps from production floor. Frequent interaction with line leads, supervisors, and others to ensure real time data is available to proactively address potential delays or problems as they arise. Participates in and assists with Continual Improvement initiatives. Assists with Engineering Change Requests which apply to assigned commodities. Reviews shortages and plans to fulfill them by working with various departments as needed. Organizes resources to ensure effective production of goods and services. Create documentation packages based on the required documents listed by engineering. Coordinates and establishes production schedules and follows up on performance against goals. Receives work direction, assists in resolving problems such as, fulfilling shortages, expediting, and coordinating with other departments to get the job completed. Helps prepare schedules and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Assists in reviewing sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements. Reviews inventory levels, schedules, and availability of selected items, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules. Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the Purchasing Department and Supervisors on material status and production planning issues. Reviews of BOMS and Blueprints. Works closely with the Stockroom, Production and Planning in support of our customers and On-Time-Delivery. Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, working to maintain constructive working relationships. Performs other duties as assigned. Professional Qualifications Experienced service administrator with a good sense of urgency and a structured approach to supporting our customers. Associates degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years' experience in an administrative or customer support role preferably in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing experience preferred. Experience with Customer Relationship Management System, CRM a plus. Personal Skills Strong administrative and organizational skills with a strong sense of personal accountability. Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle a large volume of work Excellent communication skills Self-starter Demonstrate collaborative skills. Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. //www.hbkworld.com. Compensation The pay range for this position is $74,000 to $80,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
