Planning Coordinator

Johnson Service Group is seeking a Production Planner for an Electronic Manufacturing company in San Jose. The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating production schedules, ensuring material readiness, and supporting on-time delivery. This role acts as a liaison between planning, production, and procurement to maintain efficient operations and meet customer commitments. Responsibilities Monitor and adjust production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize capacity Coordinate daily production activities, shipments, and build plans Ensure material, tooling, and documentation readiness for scheduled work orders Partner with procurement to resolve material shortages and ensure timely delivery Analyze production data and reports to support decision-making and performance goals Level-load work centers and maintain schedules based on capacity and demand Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues impacting delivery and lead times Support product lifecycle planning and inventory control activities Maintain accurate schedules in planning systems (SAP) and communicate updates as needed Qualifications 0-4 years of experience in production planning or a related field (electronics manufacturing preferred) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills required) Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to read and interpret technical documents and reports Effective communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities Pay rate starting at $28/hr. •Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
