Founded on decades of leadership experience supporting NASA, DoD, and complex government operations, Y aXis specializes in property management, supply chain operations, warehousing, inventory accountability, procurement support, facilities support, and operational logistics. Job Overview Y aXis Services is seeking a highly organized Material Coordinator to support Government property accountability, inventory management, transportation coordination, and excess property disposition activities at the Naval Postgraduate School. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, facilitating custody transfers, processing disposal documentation, and supporting warehouse and logistics operations in compliance with Navy and DoD regulations. Responsibilities Maintain reusable excess equipment databases and inventory tracking systems. Process hand receipts, custody transfer records, and property accountability documentation. Upload Key Supporting Documentation (KSD) including purchase orders, packing slips, DD1150s, and contracts. Verify and reconcile property records within DPAS and/or Navy ERP systems. Conduct campus-wide physical inventory inspections and barcode scanning activities. Coordinate and document excess property disposition activities using
DD1348-1A
forms. Generate issue documents for Government property under and over accountability thresholds. Maintain spreadsheets tracking DLA disposition activities and property transfers. Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules for Government equipment. Support warehouse receiving, staging, and inventory control operations. Ensure records are accurate, complete, audit-ready, and compliant with Government standards. Assist Government personnel with locating, transferring, and reusing excess property. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Government logistics, inventory, or property management experience. Minimum 2 years of DoD disposition or Government property accountability experience. Minimum 2 years of Microsoft Office experience. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Strong data entry accuracy and organizational skills. Ability to obtain and maintain CAC access and required background investigation. Preferred Qualifications Experience using DPAS, Navy ERP, PRE, or similar Government logistics systems. Knowledge of Federal property accountability and inventory regulations. Prior experience supporting Navy or Department of Defense logistics operations. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 0730-1630, excluding Federal holidays.
Pay:
$25.00 - $36.00 per hour
