A Brief Overview The Senior TDS Vendor Management Specialist manages license, warranty and service agreement records for all hardware and software assets at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. This position is responsible for all purchasing, invoicing, and contract renewals of hardware, software, subscription services, and consulting. Locations Stanford Health Care What you will do Works with various TDS teams to obtain requirements for hardware and/or software procurement Provides TDS requirements to a variety of hardware, software, and services vendors and obtains quotes Understands vendor proposals/contracts and works with vendors to obtain clarification where needed Works with various TDS teams to facilitate vendor meetings, conference calls, and quote validation sessions Actively seeks to understand various technology needs and maintains a list of qualified vendors/suppliers Leads the planning and launch of RFIs and RFPs Provides meticulous analysis of spend data to identify sourcing opportunities Identifies and pursue opportunities to lower the total cost of goods and services to enhance total enterprise cost of ownership; provides supply planning and analysis; and conduct supplier performance and relationship management. Education Qualifications Associate's Degree Associate's degree in a work related field/discipline from an accredited college or university Required Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying. Required Experience Qualifications Six (6) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience Required Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Prior experience managing vendor relationships Ability to evaluate and negotiate contracts and manage vendor service agreements Knowledge of IT software and hardware licensing methods used by various vendors Ability to communicate effectively Ability to use judgment and make sound decisions Ability to work independently Proven self-starter and creative problem solver Strong orientation to execution Understanding of staffing and consulting processes, including SOWs, billing, and performance evaluations Ability to lead a project Licenses and Certifications CPSM - Certified Professional in Supply Management preferred Upon Hire or CPM - Certified Purchasing Manager (Certification By The Institute For Supply Management) preferred Upon Hire or These principles apply to ALL employees: SHC Commitment to Providing an Exceptional Patient & Family Experience Stanford Health Care sets a high standard for delivering value and an exceptional experience for our patients and families. Base Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $62.75 - $83.16 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
