This role serves as a key partner to management by coordinating shipping and receiving activities, assisting with logistics operations, organizing company events, and ensuring the office runs efficiently. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys variety in their work, and takes initiative to solve problems and support multiple departments. Essential Responsibilities Logistics & Operations
  • Assist in supporting daily inbound and outbound shipping activities, freight scheduling, and transportation coordination.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, delivery records, and related paperwork.
  • Assist the Logistics Coordinator with shipping, receiving, inventory movements, and operational projects. Administrative Support
  • Provide administrative support to managers, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing reports, and organizing documents.
  • Answer phones, respond to correspondence, coordinate travel arrangements, and maintain office filing systems.
  • Order office supplies, process invoices and expense reports, and assist with general office operations.
  • Support HR and leadership with onboarding, training coordination, and special projects. Event & Office Coordination
  • Coordinate company meetings, employee events, customer visits, and training sessions.
  • Arrange vendors, catering, meeting materials, and event logistics.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and overall execution.
  • Complete local business errands, deliveries, and operational support as needed. Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of experience in office administration, logistics, supply chain, transportation, or operations.
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ERP or warehouse management systems are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
  • Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to perform local company errands and deliveries as needed. Core Competencies
