Job Description
Job Description We are seeking an Event Operations & Hardware Logistics Technician to support global events and a hardware loaner program from an on‑site warehouse environment. This role is responsible for managing tradeshow inventory, coordinating domestic and international shipments, supporting complex event logistics (including carnets), and overseeing hardware loan fulfillment and returns. This is a hands‑on operational role that works closely with event, marketing, shipping, trade compliance, and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workflows in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory of tradeshow and event marketing assets; track availability, condition, and lifecycle. Organize and manage a location‑based storage and shelving system to support efficient retrieval and return. Coordinate outbound and inbound shipments for events, adjusting ownership based on event complexity. For complex and international events, manage shipping end‑to‑end, including documentation and timelines. Support international shipping and ATA Carnet coordination by providing detailed itemization and managing lead times. Perform quality control inspections on returned event materials and hardware; document condition and initiate repairs. Own the operational execution of a hardware loaner program, including request intake, approvals, agreements, fulfillment, and return tracking. Prepare and manage loan agreements using e‑signature platforms and maintain organized records. Partner cross‑functionally to provide shipment visibility, inventory status, and logistical support for event planning. Maintain clear documentation and identify opportunities to improve inventory and logistics processes. Required Qualifications 5-8 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or a related field. Hands‑on experience with receiving, QC, storage organization, and shipping of physical assets. Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments. Working familiarity with ATA Carnet processes, including itemization and timeline management. Experience managing agreements and documentation using e‑signature tools (e.g., DocuSign). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows. Strong communication skills and experience working cross‑functionally. Ability to work on‑site in a warehouse environment on a daily basis. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting tradeshow, event, or experiential marketing logistics. Experience managing a loaner, demo, or asset lending program. Familiarity with large‑scale conferences or trade expos. Background in technology or hardware‑focused environments. Additional exposure to import/export compliance or customs documentation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $68.35/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
