Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Material Program Manager in San Jose, CA, where you will play a pivotal role in managing material delivery schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating with customers on material planning requirements. San Jose, located in the heart of Silicon Valley, is known for its innovation, diverse culture, and vibrant tech scene, making it an exciting place to advance your career. Responsibilities Manage material and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival and prevent line-down situations. Explore all possible solutions to address material shortages, including spot market, brokers, suppliers, or coordination with customers. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve material shortages. Proactively communicate material status to clients. Update PB material shortage reports for providers. Negotiate with brokers to secure the best pricing and reasonable lead times. Provide raw material quotations to customers and oversee logistics to ensure on-time delivery. Address incoming shipment issues such as quality concerns and RMA requests. Coordinate material repairs, either on-site or off-site. Track material returns and credit memos. Work with Incoming Quality Assurance to resolve material discrepancies. Consistently follow up with customs brokers to prevent logistical delays. Ensure correct processing of RMAs by suppliers and monitor the arrival of credits or replacement materials. Communicate with internal PE to ensure BOM accuracy. Collaborate with the receiving department to resolve discrepancies and prevent delays. Synchronize with internal teams on material status to align with production plans. Assist buyers with expediting materials, requesting samples, and managing PO issues. Work with suppliers and Nvidia for alternate parts suggestions. Qualifications Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in supply chain or OEM management. Experience with SAP or related ERP systems is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
