SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented employee to support our Perishable Logistics team in South San Francisco. This role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day office and operational activities, particularly in a fast-paced environment managing time-sensitive shipments. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding, perishable cargo handling, and TSA/security compliance processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide daily administrative and operational support to the perishable logistics team. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and manage shipping documentation (AWBs, manifests, customs paperwork) Communicate with airlines, vendors, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders. Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve issues or delays. Support compliance with TSA and other regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records in internal systems and ensure data integrity. Assist with customer service inquiries related to shipments and logistics updates.

SCHEDULE

Morning shift (9am - 6pm) Evening shift (5pm - 2am) Weekend and Overtime flexibility Flexibility for slight change in hours based on shipment schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain (perishables preferred) TSA certification or experience strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems Familiarity with air freight operations and documentation Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Experience in perishable cargo handling (e.g., produce, seafood, flowers) preferred

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
