Currently our client, a Japanese Manufacturer, is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator . 【Location】Torrance, CA 【Position】 Supply Chain Coordinator 【Compensation】$55,000 - $60,000 【Hiring Style】Direct hiring, Full-time Our client is seeking a Japanese bilingual Supply Chain Coordinator. This is an Entry-Level position. Please apply if you are interested in the role. ■Key Responsibilities ・

Supplier & Vendor Negotiation:

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency and quality. ・

Delivery & Lead Time Management:

Monitor and manage delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrival of products; troubleshoot and resolve any logistical delays or issues. ・

PO Administration:

Create, process, and track Purchase Orders (POs) and manage procurement-related documentation. ・

Headquarters Liaison:

Maintain frequent and clear communication with the parent company in Japan regarding inventory, orders, and strategic alignment (Native-level Japanese required). ・

Troubleshooting:

Address and resolve issues related to damaged goods, incorrect shipments, or billing discrepancies. ・

Supplier Visits:

Accompany senior management or stakeholders on supplier visits to build relationships and audit performance. ・

Travel:

1-2 international trips per year; approximately 3-4 domestic trips per year (frequency may vary by assigned supplier). ■Qualifications ・

Language Skills:

Bilingual fluency in English and Japanese is mandatory (Both written and verbal). ・

Experience:

Entry-level candidates are welcome. Previous experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain is a plus. ・

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); strong communication and negotiation skills. ・

Personal Attributes:

High level of organizational skill, ability to work independently, and a problem-solving mindset.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per hour
