We are currently seeking a skilled Apparel Production Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our production operations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the apparel industry, specifically in production assistance roles.
  • Experience in product development, including coordinating with overseas manufacturers for trims, fabric approvals, and sample coordination.
  • Proficient in managing purchase orders from creation to receipt.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in inventory management and forecasting production.
  • Ability to work against short deadlines for product approval.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the apparel production chain.
  • Eager, passionate, and self-motivated problem solver.
  • High volume of email communication with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments including marketing, sales, customer service, and shipping.
  • Experience tracking items using a work-in-progress (WIP) report to maintain product organization and efficiency.
  • Adaptability and analytical, investigative approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with overseas manufacturers for the creation of final products, including trims, fabric approvals, and sample coordination.
  • Manage purchase orders from creation to receipt, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze production data.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet important deadlines.
  • Forecast production needs and manage inventory accordingly.
  • Facilitate communication with vendors and suppliers through email correspondence.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer service, and shipping departments.
  • Track items using a work-in-progress (WIP) report to maintain product organization and efficiency.
  • Employ adaptability and analytical problem-solving skills to address production challenges.
