Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
Experience in produce or perishable goods industry strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with routing, dispatching, and load planning Skills & Competencies Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Strong knowledge of transportation and DOT regulations
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to make sound, timely decisions Key Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch shipments using both in-house and third-party carriers
Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance
Negotiate transportation rates and services with carriers
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics partners
Schedule, book, and track shipments from origin to final delivery
Monitor transit times and proactively resolve delays or service issues
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company transportation policies
Partner with Sales to forecast and support current and future shipping needs
Maintain accurate records, including carrier contracts and insurance certificates
