Job Description

The Logistics Clerk helps keep materials and products moving smoothly through the company. This role focuses on shipping and receiving packages, organizing inventory, and preparing material kits for production. Training will be provided—no prior logistics experience required, just a willingness to learn and keen attention to detail. This is an entry-level role with lots of room to grow.
Job Responsibilities:
Receiving Receive, unpack and check incoming deliveries against packing lists or purchase orders. Classify parts received, assign lot numbers and document transaction in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Clean, bag and label parts. Determine and manage physical location of parts. Document and tag company property appropriately. Report any damaged or missing items to the Production Manager. Kitting & Material Handling Gather and organize parts and materials into kits for production orders. Document part consumption in ERP system. Make sure kits are complete, properly labeled, and delivered to the correct work areas. Return leftover parts to storage with proper documentation. Inventory Control Keep inventory areas neat, organized, and easy to navigate. Record received and issued materials in the ERP tracking system. Drive regular inventory counts, reconcile and resolve discrepancies. Maintain limited-shelf-life material stock. Notify the team when stock is running low or misplaced within the company ERP system. Shipping Coordinate shipping needs with program teams. Pack, label and arrange outgoing shipments. Maintain shipping supplies. Prepare shipping paperwork such as labels, packing slips, and tracking forms. General Duties Follow all company safety procedures in the warehouse and work areas. Assist team members and learn to operate basic material-handling equipment (training provided). Administrative support for Supply Chain and Manufacturing departments. Keep work areas clean and orderly. Support other warehouse or logistics tasks as needed. Support company AS9100 standards by following procedures and checklists, and maintaining clear, simple documentation (training provided). Skills +
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Good computer skills (email, scanning and data management in ERP system). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize simultaneous requests/responsibilities. Basic math skills. Strong time management skills. No prior logistics experience needed. On-the-job training provided. Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs. Self-driven, proactive personality. Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
