Job Description

Schedule:
Full-Time (Year-round with seasonal flow; potential for salary conversion) About the Role Tellurides is looking for a local "Swiss Army Knife" to join our Ridgway headquarters. We need a proactive professional who serves as the heartbeat of our daily operations—someone who is as comfortable managing complex data entry as they are navigating high-stakes customer interactions and staff management. This role requires strong mental sitting-power, high-speed multitasking, and the ability to maintain precision under pressure. We are looking for an individual who wants to be invested long-term in the success of a local industry leader. In return, we offer a clear path for upward mobility into a managerial position for candidates who demonstrate mastery of difficult tasks and consistent initiative.
Primary Responsibilities Logistics & Project Management:
Manage schedules and ensure our transportation flow is seamless. We need "measure twice, cut once" project management skills to oversee reservation and dispatch systems.
Customer Experience:
Act as the primary point of contact for bookings, providing exceptional, personable, and accurate customer service.
Team Leadership:
Oversee in-office staff interactions and daily management to ensure a cohesive, professional working environment.
Creative Problem Solving:
Tackle the unique challenges of mountain-town logistics (weather, seasonal shifts, and events) while assisting with internal document design or community outreach.
Process Improvement:
Proactively identify areas for streamlining and take the lead on improving existing tasks. What We're Looking For The "Double-Checker": You find peace in a well-kept calendar and a logical filing system. You have a near-obsessive attention to detail and naturally follow up on pending tasks without being prompted.
Local Knowledge:
Living within a reasonable distance of Ouray County (or very nearby) is highly preferred to ensure reliable attendance regardless of Colorado weather.
Tech Savvy:
Proficient in Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 and adaptable to new software. Proficiency in Adobe is a significant plus.
Creative Mindset:
You can write a compelling, accurate email and constantly think of better ways to get things done.
