Position Summary AMG Bethel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Planning Coordinator to support production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing operations. This role will work closely with the Master Planner, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Engineering, and Quality teams to help maintain production flow and ensure accurate production documentation throughout the facility. The Planning Coordinator will play a key role in administrative and transactional planning support, including creating and maintaining production jobs, printing and organizing travelers, monitoring work-in-process (WIP), and assisting with schedule coordination and job prioritization. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow within manufacturing planning and operations in an Aerospace & Defense environment. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Production Planning Support Support daily production scheduling activities and manufacturing priorities Create, release, update, and maintain production jobs within the ERP system Print, organize, and distribute manufacturing travelers, routers, process sheets, and production documentation Ensure travelers and production paperwork are accurate and complete before release to the floor Monitor work-in-process (WIP) and assist in expediting priority jobs Coordinate schedule changes and communicate updates to Production and cross-functional teams Support daily Tier meetings and production status reporting Administrative & ERP Coordination Maintain accurate planning data within the ERP system Assist with job closures, job status updates, and inventory transaction support Track shortages, material availability, and production bottlenecks Generate and maintain production reports, planning spreadsheets, and KPI tracking Support document control and revision updates related to production paperwork Cross-Functional Support Work closely with Master Planning, Purchasing, Production, Shipping, Engineering, and Quality teams Assist with prioritization of customer orders and delivery commitments Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production flow and scheduling accuracy Help maintain organized planning files and manufacturing documentation Safety & Compliance Follow AS9100 quality requirements and company procedures Maintain confidentiality of ITAR-controlled information and production data Support safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in manufacturing coordination, production planning, scheduling, or administrative support Strong organizational and multitasking skills Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Strong communication and teamwork abilities Detail-oriented with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Experience in Aerospace & Defense or precision manufacturing environments ERP system experience (Epicor preferred) Experience working with production travelers, routers, or manufacturing documentation Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and manufacturing workflows Compliance Requirement Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) to support ITAR technical data access requirements.
