Production Planning & Scheduling Coordinator Location:
Greater New Haven, CT | Full-Time | A growing consumer products manufacturer is seeking a Production Planning & Scheduling Coordinator to support daily operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for balancing production schedules, inventory levels, and customer demand while driving efficiency across the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working cross-functionally, and making a direct impact on operational performance. Key Responsibilities Build and manage daily/weekly production schedules Optimize sequencing to improve efficiency and minimize downtime Coordinate with operations, supply chain, warehouse, and customer service teams Monitor inventory levels and support demand planning activities Adjust schedules based on plant conditions and business priorities Utilize ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate planning data Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives Qualifications 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing operations Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or a high-volume production environment preferred Strong organizational and analytical skills Proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP systems Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment What's Offered Growth-oriented company culture Collaborative leadership team Stable and expanding organization Opportunity to make a visible impact on operations
