Commercial Truck Registration & Compliance Coordinator Location:
Southbury, CT Job Type:
Full-Time Pay:
$22-$26 per hour (based on experience) About Us We help trucking companies stay compliant with state and federal regulations by managing commercial vehicle registrations, IFTA tax reporting, IRP renewals, permits, and other transportation compliance requirements. Our team is known for providing responsive service, accurate work, and helping clients navigate the complexities of the trucking industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in transportation compliance, fleet administration, or business operations. No prior IFTA or IRP experience is required—we will train the right candidate. What You'll Do As a Commercial Truck Registration & Compliance Coordinator, you will assist trucking companies with critical licensing, registration, and compliance activities, including: Processing commercial truck registrations and renewals Assisting with IRP (International Registration Plan) accounts Preparing and filing IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) reports Managing permits and regulatory filings Tracking registration and compliance deadlines Communicating with clients, state agencies, and regulatory authorities Reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness Maintaining organized electronic records and client files Providing excellent customer service and support to trucking clients Assisting with special projects and administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Professional communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Positive attitude and willingness to learn Preferred Experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or data-entry role Experience in trucking, transportation, logistics, dispatch, insurance, DMV/title work, or fleet administration Familiarity with IFTA, IRP, DOT, FMCSA, or commercial vehicle registrations (not required) Why Join Us?
