JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance production management, to achieve or maintain desired production levels, to serve as an equipment readiness expert for units supported by the facility, and to provide technical guidance and oversight to a lower-graded Production Controller.
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.
This is an excepted position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the Connecticut Army Nional Guard. The major duties include, but are not limited to: Establishes plans and schedules for maintenance and repair, using multiple process production methods and procedures for a variety of vehicles and equipment such as comb vehicles, heavy-duty engineering and mobile equipment, tracked vehicles, towed and self-propelled artillery, communicions and electronic equipment, guided missile systems, and small arms. Ensures Modified Table of Organizion and Equipment (MTO&E) or Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) reportable Line Item Numbers (LIN) are properly managed, reported and accounted for with respect to readiness reports, property accountability reports, and system management. Programs workload, shop space, and available personnel on a short and long-term basis. Ensures th unit Class 9 (CL IX) accounts are funded, budgeted, and executed to maximize readiness. Designes and maintains current maintenance priorities by Force Activity Designor, pacing items, Equipment Readiness Codes (ERC) A, B, and C equipment type, available funds, commander's priority, ste/nional priorities (in the case of floods, fires, and mobilizions), and unit supported. GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Experience, educion or training which indices the candide can reason in quantitive terms, communice orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and da pertaining to repair operions and process characteristics of the production activity.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Experience with current automion support programs to input da, provide stus of equipment, and monitor job order stus, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts stus, etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of production control procedures and operions sufficient to collect, compile, correle, and maintain production da. Knowledge of supply procedures, maintenance operions and equipment reporting, policies, regulions, and procedures governing operions to program workload, shop space, and available personnel on a short and long-term basis. Knowledge of production control, maintenance and supply procedures, management systems, policies, regulions and procedures governing production operions to carry out work. Knowledge of CL IX operions, procedures, and procurement processes to include IMAP funding and execution processes. Ability to effectively budget CL IX funds for each supported unit to maximize equipment readiness. Knowledge of various types of equipment and capabilities which general purpose machine repairs and special grades shops are capable of performing. Knowledge of equipment, such as, comb vehicles, armored personnel carriers, towed and self propelled artillery, engineer and power genering equipment, tactical vehicles, etc., to correct and analyze a variety of routine production da and processes, prepare production schedules, prepare reporting da, etc. Knowledge of current automion support programs to input da, provide stus of equipment, monitor job order stus, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts stus, etc. Knowledge of unit readiness, equipment-reporting requirements, reportable systems management as prescribed by the current regulion. Ability to use current automion programs to produce readiness reports with a high degree of accuracy.

Training the Nional Guard Professional Educion Center (NGPEC) is a mandory condition of employment, subject to availability of resources. NGB prescribed courses NGPEC must be completed within 6 months of assignment to this position. Failure to complete course(s) may result in reassignment or terminion of full-time employment unless extenuing circumstances preclude course tendance.
