We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee daily transportation operations and support our drivers and bus attendants. Position Summary The Entry Level Site Coordinator serves as the on-site leader responsible for ensuring transportation operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This part-time position manages drivers and bus attendants, coordinates daily staffing, communicates with the office, responds to operational issues, and helps maintain compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Duties Arrive before transportation operations begin to review schedules and confirm staffing coverage. Ensure drivers and bus attendants have reported to work and understand their assignments. Communicate any staffing updates or operational concerns to the office. Serve as a point of contact for drivers and bus attendants throughout the day, assisting with communication and responding to basic operational issues. Support student accountability and address safety concerns as needed Help verify afternoon staffing and assist with any last-minute adjustments. Confirm routes have been completed, ensure required checks are performed, and report any outstanding issues to management. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and janitorial services. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff toward shared goals. Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with management practices in transportation services Excellent communication skills for clear instruction delivery and team coordination. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 1 to 3 years of relevant experience required. Previous supervisory, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or school transportation experience preferred. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm and organized in fast-paced situations. Strong problem-solving abilities. Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently while supporting a team. Ability to pass background check and drug test Preferred Qualifications Experience coordinating school bus drivers or transportation staff. Experience handling employee scheduling and staffing. Knowledge of student transportation safety procedures. Experience documenting incidents and maintaining compliance records. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to respond quickly during emergencies.
