Full Job Description Overview:
Arete Consulting is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to support the lifecycle sustainment of the U.S. Coast Guard's Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) programs. This is a rare opportunity to build logistics infrastructure from the ground up for cutting-edge unmanned platforms across air, maritime, and subsurface domains.
Responsibilities:
Develop Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs) and logistics documentation. Conduct Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis, and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) assessments. Evaluate contractor logistics proposals and training programs. Provide expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and warehousing operations. Conduct site visits to assess logistics support capabilities and identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations tailored to USCG stakeholders. Collaborate with USCG Program Managers and logistics personnel to ensure compliance with USCG MSAM and sustainment policies.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance. 5+ years of logistics experience supporting federal or defense programs. Strong understanding of lifecycle logistics and sustainment planning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) logistics programs. Familiarity with USCG MSAM, NMAP, and Product Support Management policies. Experience with Logistics Support Analysis Reports (LSARs), LMI data, and provisioning documentation. Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle and logistics risk management methodologies.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
