Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized outbound shipping associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing outbound orders for shipment. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties Accurately sort, prep, and palletize orders for shipment. Operate pallet jacks and forklift to move products within the yard. Maintain an organized stock area, ensuring that all inventory is properly stored and easily accessible. Process outbound shipments, inspecting items for damage and verifying against purchase orders. Assist forklift operator in loading product onto flatbed trucks for shipment Follow all safety protocols including safe lifting techniques and proper use of PPE Experience Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a related role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with order fulfillment processes in a distribution or manufacturing environment is advantageous. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift is a plus. Basic understanding of inventory management systems (MRP) is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work outside under the sun for 10 hour shifts is required
