Job Description

1 yr contract with potential for conversion based upon performance and/or business need Fully onsite in Apopka, FL •Contract work does not included additional perks/benefits• Basic Qualifications High School Diploma (or GED) 2 years of combined experience in Material Planning, Global Supply Chain or Material Handling. Preferred Qualifications (a plus, not required) Bachelor's Degree with the same 2 years of combined experience in Material Planning, Global Supply Chain or Material Handling. Experience in working with manufacturing specifications and drawings.
Note:
This position is intended to be contracted to hire. While this is our intent, this is not a promise to hire Job Description Material Planner 1 to support our MRP Planning department. As a member of the MRP Planning department you'll get to manage materials from dock to shipping while interfacing with other functional areas. This position will serve on-site at Apopka, FL. Responsibilities Prepares lists of materials, accessories, and parts used in production following engineering and design blueprints. Examines blueprints, identifies parts code, computes quantity needed, and lists total material requirements including contract numbers, routing, and special handling instructions. Submits list to purchasing department for use in preparing purchase orders. Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other requests Collaborating and coordinating with other functional areas to develop the material procurement strategy, interfacing with Global Supply Chain, Program Management, and Operations Program Management. Ensuring delivery schedule adherence Prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing and coordinates with schedulers to ensure that items are being processed according to specifications and time requirements. Maintains progress reports, schedules, and other related records. Maintains "as required" material planning, reorder points and consumption. #IND1

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
