Summit Marketing Group Inc d/b/a Beyond Paint seeks a Logistics Associate who coordinates logistics to support the timely and cost-effective movement of goods in accordance with established company procedures. Communicates with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to arrange shipments across multiple transportation modes. Obtains and compares carrier rate quotes and assists in selecting appropriate transportation options based on predefined criteria. Books freight shipments and monitors delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfillment. Accurately inputs and processes customer orders into the Beyond Paint computer system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. Tracks and traces shipments and follows up on delays or discrepancies in coordination with carriers and internal team members. Provides shipment status updates to internal departments and customers. Assists with customer service inquiries related to shipping and delivery. Supports sales and marketing, including acquisition, distribution, delivery, and final disposal of company inventory, as directed by management.
