Materials Coordinator I

RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize NetSuite system to issue purchase orders, confirm purchase orders and track inventory. Process expense order requisitions for assigned vendors. Track inventory levels of packaging to assure correct ordering levels are maintained. Communicate with suppliers and internal customers. Ensure that delivery schedules are kept uptodate; record all changes. Maintain all records including but not limited to purchase orders, requisitions, quotations, and pricing files. Process returns to suppliers for nonconforming, out of the box failures and excess inventory levels. Assist accounting in invoicing discrepancies and unforeseen supplier issues. Monitor backorder and open purchase order reports and expedite accordingly. Work closely with receiving on unforeseen issues regarding discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracies. Attention to detail.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Two years' related experience preferred or a combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Individual must have knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Office. Excel experience a must.
