Gatehouse Operator Sofidel America of Haines City, FL is currently seeking a Gatehouse Operator . Job Responsibilities:

Record live weights of all inbound and outbound loads accurately. Understand data flow through the supply chain and database systems. Operate the scale system, ensuring accurate reporting and effective communication with transportation drivers and management. Maintain accuracy of data in the scale program, including transportation, processing, billing, and reporting. Keep detailed and accurate records for reporting and analysis purposes. Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing vehicles and pedestrians. Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear, efficient communication with staff and drivers. Use telephones, radios, and other communication tools effectively. Maintain cleanliness and order around scales to ensure accurate readings. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and state regulations. Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) 1-3 years of related work experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, quality and procedure manuals. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
