$18-$21/hour Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and organized Central Supply Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining supply organization, coordinating purchasing processes, and ensuring nursing departments have the supplies and equipment needed to provide exceptional resident care. Previous nursing home Central Supply experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities Ensure all orders are confirmed with written purchase orders Prepare, review, and submit purchase orders according to procurement policies and procedures Assist with correspondence and claims related to damaged merchandise, shipment errors, and vendor returns Assess equipment and supply needs and report findings routinely to the Director of Nursing (D.O.N.) Assist in developing methods to determine appropriate quantities of nursing supplies and equipment Deliver emergency supplies and equipment as directed Ensure supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored Organize storage, issue, and delivery of supplies and equipment in accordance with facility policies Verify invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips against incoming merchandise Maintain accurate inventory records when receiving and issuing supplies and equipment Ensure storage instructions are properly followed to prevent damage or deterioration Organize and catalog supply locations for efficient access and handling Notify appropriate departments when special orders arrive Monitor supply usage to identify waste, shortages, or overuse Ensure vendors provide updated Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in compliance with OSHA regulations and facility policies Answer staff inquiries regarding supplies and products Follow up on back orders and delayed shipments Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Previous Central Supply experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting required Experience with inventory control and supply chain processes Familiarity with procurement or inventory management software preferred Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to remain active for extended periods throughout the workday Team-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail Benefits Comprehensive Medical and Dental Coverage Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Recognition Program Supportive and team-oriented work environment Company perks and employee discounts If you are dependable, organized, and experienced in nursing home Central Supply operations, we encourage you to apply today and become a valued member of our team dedicated to supporting quality resident care.
