Job Duties:
Coordinate and secure transportation services by working with freight carriers and logistics providers. Select appropriate shipping methods and complete all required transport and customs paperwork. Maintain accurate logs of incoming, outgoing, and stored inventory. Inform recipients of shipment arrivals and coordinate final delivery. Locate stored goods and investigate missing or delayed shipments. Input shipment data manually or via barcode scanning systems. Organize cargo insurance to protect shipments against loss or damage. Communicate with suppliers, claims teams, or service centers to address shipping issues. Verify received goods against documentation, report discrepancies, and refuse damaged items. Label packages with destination details, tracking codes, and handling instructions. Direct incoming cargo to available transport or designated storage using material-handling equipment. Guide delivery vehicles to proper locations and assist with safe loading and unloading. Monitor and replenish inventory of packaging supplies.
