Job Description
Global Turbine Services (GTS) is seeking a motivated, dependable, and safety-focused Parts Mover to support our aerospace engine maintenance and repair operations. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of aircraft engine parts, equipment, and materials throughout the facility while ensuring accurate inventory tracking and adherence to safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Transport aircraft engine parts, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility. Assist with loading, unloading, and moving heavy materials using proper lifting techniques and material handling equipment. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Properly load and secure materials to prevent damage during transport. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and material transfers. Support inventory control activities and assist with warehouse organization. Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to support production schedules and workflow efficiency. Follow all company safety procedures and aerospace industry quality standards. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material handling environments. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment. Forklift Certification preferred. Ability to safely lift, move, and transport heavy materials. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Aerospace, aviation, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
