Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating and optimizing the transportation and distribution of goods to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. In this role you will support the day-to-day operations across warehousing, inventory control, and transportation logistics. You'll be responsible for coordinating shipments, assisting with demand planning, and ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This position requires someone highly organized, proactive, and capable of working across departments to resolve issues quickly, track shipments, and keep documentation accurate. Your contributions will help maintain our service reliability, optimize our logistics costs, and improve overall operational efficiency. Responsibilities- Coordinate daily shipments with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist in demand planning and inventory forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Monitor logistics-related profit and loss statements for cost control.
- Support price negotiations with transportation providers and vendors.
- Assist in troubleshooting transport or delivery issues.
- Contribute to the implementation and management of transportation systems to increase operational efficiency.
- Oversee material handling and ensure proper storage procedures are followed.
- Use data analytics to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Track and dispatch outbound deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and status updates.
Duties:
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods

Requirements:
