We are currently seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused Scheduler / Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in coordinating patient care, surgical scheduling, insurance approvals, and ensuring an excellent patient experience from check-in through check-out. Duties Schedule surgical procedures and coordinate with physicians, surgery centers, and patients Obtain and verify insurance referrals and prior authorizations Follow up on pending authorizations and communicate updates to patients Assist with patient check-out and scheduling follow-up appointments Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Communicate with insurance companies regarding authorization requirements and approvals Ensure all required documentation, referrals, imaging, and clearances are completed prior to procedures Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and procedure-related questions Work collaboratively with providers, medical assistants, and front office staff across multiple specialties Assist with administrative tasks and daily office workflow as needed. Experience Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of insurance referrals and prior authorizations. Experience with EMR systems preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced multispecialty office Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette are necessary to create a welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Pay:
