SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
(TITLE 32), GS-0346-12, you will serve as Chief, Distribution Management Division providing logistics guidance and support to units, organizions and activities through the management of logistics activities. Responsible to provide supervision for Plans and Policy, Food Service, Defense Movement, Sustainment Automion Support Management Office (SASMO), Command Property Management, Aerial Delivery Logistics Facilities(ADLF) and Supply and Services. This work requires knowledge of a broad range of supply program relionships of significant depth in supply management. Assignments require knowledge of specialized methods and techniques to analyze and evalue effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and operions. The incumbent applies a depth of knowledge developed from extensive experience in supply operions. The incumbent must analyze independently and resolve difficult issues and problems, to include supply processes, work methods, supply da management and operional procedures. As the supervisor you will sets overall objectives and decide on resources available. As the supervisor you will determining which project to initie, develop deadlines and identify staff and resources required to complete. Incumbent is responsible for planning and carrying out the work, resolving most conflicts th arise, integring and coordining work of others as necessary and interpreting policy in terms of established objectives. As the supervisor, employees will keep you informed of progress, potentially controversial mters, issues with far-reaching implicions and intractable problems. You will apply such directives issued by NGB, policy stements and objectives, interagency supply program policy proposals requiring refinement and coordinion or other guides not specific on how they are to be defined, implemented and monitored. You will investige and analyzing a variety of unusual supply problems, questions or conditions associed with questions about supply programs and operions, formuling projects or studies to substantially alter existing supply systems or establishing criteria in an assigned area of specializion. : Must have experience, educion or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automion systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE - GS12
: You must have least 1-year specialized experience, educion or training equivalent to least next lower grade level, identifying activities involving logistical support operions; experience integring the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automed da processing to meet the logistics plan; experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperion to perform specific tasks, and complying with regulions, laws, or practices; experience in managing the function of the work to be performed; experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
