Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:

TDW Closeouts is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and streamline our daily shipping and transportation operations. This role is essential to ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate freight pickups and deliveries Book trucks and negotiate rates with carriers and brokers Arrange container bookings for overseas shipments Prepare and manage shipping documentation (BOLs) Inventory Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and customers Communicate with warehouses, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth operations Resolve shipping delays, discrepancies, and logistics issues efficiently Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and carrier performance

Qualifications:

Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination preferred Forklift certified Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with freight booking, LTL/FTL shipments, and international shipping processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
